Mountain Lodge Homes came into being from our need to diversify from traditional farming activities on our croft in the Highlands of Scotland.

We dreamed of building a beautiful log house at the bottom of the croft that would have fantastic views looking out over the hills. It would be used for self catering accommodation, creating a new additional income stream for the croft.

Uable to find a supplier offering the quality we wanted, we created links with manufacturers in Finland to get the best quality log house available.

One log house on the croft grew into six, and with our hard earned experience, we started helping other families realise their dream of owning their own log home.

Now working exclusively with Artichouse of Finland, we offer a wide range of fully customisable timber frame and log house kits, manufactured using the highest quality materials, and Finnish FSC timber, slow grown in Lapland, inside the Arctic Circle.
